Academic Joy is an original idea that grew out of my personal experience during my doctoral studies.
I realized that behind the achievements of every researcher there is a hidden story, the other side
of success made of obstacles, insights and determination against odds.
A year and a half after its creation, tens of thousands of grateful researchers and graduate students
visit Academic Joy to discover and use one of the finest online selections of open access resources
for research. These are the kind of resources I wish I had in my early career and lonely PhD years.
Academic Joy is created with the idea that to share through open access is the best way to care about
the advancement of knowledge in higher education. Because you are part of this open access movement,
I am appealing to you today to support and protect Academic Joy. Together, let’s keep it freely accessible,
independent and growing. Our common, valuable initiative needs your help to stay alive. From now on,
Academic Joy will depend on your generous donation of any amount: $3, $5, $7, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more.
Act right now then invite your colleagues and friends to join in the action.
